Booking an appointment

HOME VISITS:

Home visits are available for patients who are too ill to attend the surgery. For a home visit please contact the surgery before 11.00am and give us as much information as possible. If at all possible please attend the surgery as surgery services are available AT ANYONE OF OUR SITES which could help give the GP better care to the patients.


Urgent Domiciliary Visits:

Urgent domiciliary house calls are organised through the doctor. If you do need an urgent contact surgery, this then will be organised for you psychiatric, geriatric or other domiciliary visit you must contact the doctor as soon as possible during surgery hours. The doctor will then organize this for you.



 

It could help you to see the right person for treatment or could save you a trip to the practice, since we may be able to deal with your health concerns by phone or email.

For booking appointments please contact the surgery during opening hours, either by telephone, coming into the surgery or on-line Monday – Friday 08.00am – 6.30pm

Except when surgery is closed on half days, however appointments can still be made as one of our sites is always open.

EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS

If you need an EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT then please contact the surgery ASAP. Please give US as much information as possible and at our discretion will be able to offer you an EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT. EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT are given usually at the end of the surgery.

Please request your appointment for morning surgery or early afternoon if you are unemployed, off sick or retired. WE can do more for you during the morning surgery as they have more time.

Evening surgery is for clients who are working full – time, children in full – time education or if you are ill or for emergencies. No sick notes or forms can be filled in during evening surgery. At times your GP might ask you to come at a different time if you need more time for an examination or a referral to the hospital. It is the responsibility of the patient to keep any appointments they have made with the surgery and to cancel appointments if they are unable to attend.
