A new handbook has been launched to support the health and wellbeing of teenagers across Wolverhampton and empower them to make informed choices.

This comprehensive booklet, created through a collaboration between the Sexual Health Service Embrace, and School Nursing at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT), is specifically designed for young people aged 13 to 19. And it has been developed using teenagers’ feedback and ideas.

It offers valuable information about accessing Sexual Health and School Nursing Services, along with advice and support on a broad spectrum of health and wellbeing topics, including emotional health and wellbeing and sleep.

The launch coincides with Sexual Health Week, which runs 9-15 September and aims to educate and empower people of all ages to take control of their sexual health.

For more information about the “Teenage Health Handbook” young people in Wolverhampton can speak with their School Nurse or sexual health clinics.

The booklet is also available digitally, ensuring that all teenagers have easy access to this vital information. This initiative reflects a commitment to empowering young people with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
